(More customer reviews)My terrain is Bagram AF Afghanistan - My total commute is 8 miles a day on a partially paved flat, very dusty, windy, very muddy (on wet days) road. I ordered my X-50 on 4 May and it arrived on Bagram 10 May 2010. It took me 15 minutes to unpack and start riding. The ride is extremely smooth on these roads and I rise out of the saddle on the rocky unpaved sections. We have one hill and I find the shifting smooth as hell. Even riding with one hand you can shift effortlessly. After a muddy ride I found the bike easy to hose off and clean. NO tough to clean places. Great bike for the average rider, but with 18 gears I was spinning on the flats and needed more torque, so I just ordered the Paratrooper and I'll let you know next month if the extra 6 gears was worth the money. At $499 the X50 was easy to sell.
