(More customer reviews)I use this system to charge a 33 Amp Hour battery through a blocking diode and it works pretty good. For those technical geeks, the output during the same one hour period from this bike generator (measured by WattsVIEW power monitor) was 5.4 Amp Hoursand ~70 Watt Hours. During a one hour period, I was able to bring the battery from 0% charged to 40% charged. I have also used this generator setup to charge a Duracell 600Watt Powerpack which was nice so I could plug in regular 110V AC appliances into it like laptop, computer, cell phone charger, lights, television, blender, and more.
What I don't like about this system is that I have to take the rear tire off my bike to put the belt on. ALso, if I try to put out anything over 200 Watts, I have to make sure the belt is really tight, or it will begin to slip.
